C-Suite: Danielle Bisterfeldt, vice president of marketing, Summerlin

Q: What are you reading?

A: “Southern Son: The Saga of Doc Holliday” by Victoria Wilcox.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant? Where do you take clients to dinner?

A: Andiron Steak & Sea at Downtown Summerlin. Their salmon is one of my favorites. From signature meals to appetizers and seafood — it’s a one-stop-shop for all things delicious and perfect for a quiet dinner with clients or a night out on the town.

Q: Where do you work out or play your favorite sport?

A: I’ve turned into an avid golfer! It’s something I try to do on the weekends with my boyfriend. A good activity to get outside, enjoy the beautiful fall temps and clear my head.

Q: How do you decompress after a hard week?

A: I’m a football fan so devoting time to cheer on my favorite team is a great way to get my mind off of work and relish a little me time. I also enjoy a good cocktail and relaxing in the hot tub, both good de-stressers!

Q: What is the biggest challenge facing Las Vegas in the next five years?

A: While the city is thriving with the arrival of professional sports and new technology-based businesses, our public education system needs additional attention. Our youth are our future. I’m hopeful as a community we can come together to work on solutions to help improve public education across the valley.
