Alison wWainwright

ALISON WAINWRIGHT is the owner of Voodoo Brewing Co.

Q: What are you reading?

A: I am always reading a few books at a time which include “Delivering Happiness” by Tony Hsieh. Tony was such a great asset to Downtown Las Vegas. I’ve also been reading books about the devastating Maui fires.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant or place to take clients?

A: I love Americana in Desert Shores. I am grateful to be a long standing resident of Desert Shores and this is truly a hidden gem!

Q: How do you decompress after a long week?

A: Sleep! I enjoy naps with my dog and tidying up around the house. That, and much needed girl time with my friends. I also enjoy boating at Lake Mead.

Q: What do you do to workout?

A: I get bored at the gym and opt for less traditional work outs; but lately working in my warehouse is the best I can get these days!

Q: What is the biggest challenge facing Southern Nevada?

A: I have seen many changes in my 20-plus years living in Las Vegas. A lot of challenges I personally believe are because of population increase. This includes heightened crime, fiscal difficulties and housing issues. I hope with the growing population we have the resources to support it.
