Bailey Kennedy, LLP recently celebrated Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory High School students for the school’s annual “Taco ‘Bout It” presentation — an event that serves as a capstone project for students participating in the Corporate Work Study Program. The students utilized the presentation to showcase the skills they learned while working at Bailey Kennedy.
Members of the Bailey Kennedy team attended the event to support the students and recognize their efforts. From developing clerical skills to learning office culture, students reflected on how the experience helped them grow professionally and personally.
Bailey Kennedy has partnered with Cristo Rey St. Viator since the school opened in 2019. Each year, the firm welcomes a team of four to five students who rotate one day a week, collectively filling the equivalent of a full-time, entry-level position. The firm’s goal is to equip students with practical workplace experience and skills they can carry into college and beyond.
Cristo Rey St. Viator, located in North Las Vegas, is the first school of its kind in Nevada. The Cristo Rey education model, founded in 1996, serves students from families with limited financial resources by combining rigorous academics with meaningful corporate work experience. Through the CWSP, students earn a large portion of their tuition while building valuable skills in professional environments.
Bailey Kennedy is preparing to welcome its next team of student interns for the 2025–2026 school year as it continues its commitment to mentorship and workforce development.
