Valley Bank of Nevada named Roger Mellies senior vice president/senior lending officer for its Henderson loan office. Mellies will develop and maintain account relationships; analyze, structure and negotiate credit requests; review loan packages; prepare and present for approval credit analysis of financial cash flow and debt service capacity; and support the growth of a quality loan portfolio. Mellies has 25 years of banking experience, 23 years in commercial lending and credit administration. In the last 15 years, he has served in senior positions at Bank of Las Vegas and Nevada State Bank as well as chief credit officer for a $475 million bank.
GAMING
Las Vegas Dissemination Co. has named Gregory S. Wright as president of the company. Wright, a CPA, has been with LVDC for nearly 22 years. Wright has been licensed in various capacities by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Kolesar &Leatham named Joseph W. Brown of counsel. Brown will continue his legal practice in the areas of government affairs, administrative law and business law at Kolesar &Leatham. Brown is a former appointee of President Ronald Reagan to the State Justice Institute and the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission of the United States. More recently, Brown served as Republican National Committeeman for Nevada.
MEDICAL
Provenance Healthcare named Billy Tufano operations director. He will ensure the functionality of the company’s proprietary health-screening software. Previously, Tufano managed several Las Vegas locations in the retail and service industries.
Growblox Sciences named Leslie Bocskor, Shane Terry and John Poss to its board of directors as part of a management change designed to build cash flow, with a focus on innovative cultivation operations and scientific advancements leading to cannabis-based pharmaceutical compounds. Bocskor is president and founder of Electrum Partners. Terry is a former president of the Nevada Dispensary Association, as well former CEO of NuVeda NMS LLC. Poss is the company’s president and chief financial officer.

The Ferraro Group announced Mike Sullivan will join the firm, overseeing local government public affairs. Previously, Sullivan was vice president of state government affairs for Porter Gordon Silver Communications. He was also president of his own government affairs firm, Knight Government Affairs, and a partner in Paladin Advertising.
