Las Vegas Business Academy named Dayna Kovacic to its board of directors. Kovacic, a national account manager at Danone Waters, will pass on expertise and knowledge to the scholarship recipients at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Clark County Credit Union hired Darrick Marshall as a financial services representative. Marshall will open new accounts and assist borrowers with loan approvals.
LEGAL
Kurt R. Mattson, formerly the director of library services and continuing education at Lionel Sawyer &Collins in Las Vegas, has opened Union Legal Research in Phoenix. The company provides research and marketing services to attorneys, law firms and other organizations nationwide.
Robert E. McPeak has joined the Las Vegas office of McDonald Carano Wilson LLP as a partner. McPeak has experience extending across all commercial property types, including residential development, office, industrial, mixed-use developments and hotel-casinos.
PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Jesse Davis has been named communications director for Visit Denver. He had been director of international public relations for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and public relations and marketing manager for the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.
Erica Thompson and Allison Loftus have joined the new Las Vegas fundraising office of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Thompson will act as a regional event specialist, having held positions with Three Square Food Bank, The Shade Tree and Catholic Charities. Loftus will be the regional events liaison, and was formerly with Communities in Schools of Nevada and Vegas PBS.
REAL ESTATE
ERA Herman Group Real Estate has added Larissa Swany and Esmeralda Villeda to its Las Vegas team. Swany will offer homebuyers and sellers a variety of valuable products and services, including property microsites and home warranty plans. Villeda attends the College of Southern Nevada and is a member of one of the largest law firms in Las Vegas.

PruittHealth has named Samantha Dawkins as vice president of communications. Dawkins was formerly global brand director with Caesars Entertainment, Las Vegas. She will contribute to all aspects of the organization, creating positive awareness for the health care profession.
