ON THE MOVE: Real estate companies, groups add members

• The Commercial Alliance Las Vegas announced its newly elected officers and directors for 2021, with industry leader Petra Latch becoming president of the commercial real estate organization starting Jan. 1.

Latch, a member of the Appraisal Institute, is the executive director of valuation and advisory at Cushman & Wakefield. She served as CALV’s president-elect in 2020 and also has been a CALV board member.

Other newly elected members of the 2021 CALV board of directors include:

— President-elect Angelina Scarcelli, Certified Commercial Investment Member and Certified Property Manager, is senior portfolio manager of Colliers International in Las Vegas.

— Treasurer Bridget Atterbom, Certified Negotiation Expert, is a commercial broker at Keller Williams Commercial.

— Director Wes Drown, CCIM, of RE/MAX Advantage in Henderson.

— Director Andrew Levy, CCIM and Accredited Residential Manager, of ERA Brokers Consolidated.

CALV board members not up for re-election this year who will continue to serve include:

— Director Bobbi Miracle, CCIM, Certified International Property Specialist and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, senior vice president of Commercial Executives Real Estate Services.

— Director Jennifer Ott, CCIM, executive vice president of retail at ROI Commercial Real Estate.

— CALV Immediate Past President Robin Civish, CCIM, executive vice president of retail at ROI Commercial Real Estate.

• CBRE announced that three professionals have joined its Las Vegas office. Roy Fritz, Michael Hsu and Dylan Heroy come to CBRE as a team focused on commercial property investment sales, specifically within the retail sector. All three were previously with Sun Commercial Real Estate Inc.

“Roy, Michael and Dylan are a great complement to our services in Las Vegas. They further strengthen our leadership in investment sales and are an excellent fit for our culture at CBRE. Combining their expertise with our global resources will result in even greater outcomes for our clients doing business in Las Vegas,” said Cassie Catania-Hsu, managing director of CBRE’s Las Vegas office.

— Fritz, CCIM, joins CBRE as a first vice president. He was most recently the head of the Fritz Investment Team and formerly a part of the Investment Services Group at Sun Commercial Real Estate. Fritz has closed more than $800 million in commercial real estate transactions over the course of his multi-decade career, spanning retail, office, industrial, hospitality and land deals. Fritz is a Certified Commercial Investment Member, on the board of directors for the Southern Nevada CCIM chapter and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also a commercial real estate owner and investor in the retail sector.

Hsu also joins CBRE as a first vice president, bringing 18 years of experience in investment sales, landlord representation and tenant representation. Most recently with the Investment Services Group at Sun Commercial Real Estate, Hsu has spent much of his career focused on investment sales, working closely with a variety of ownership entities, including corporations, publicly traded REITs and private capital investors. Prior to his role at Sun Commercial, Hsu was a director with Newmark Knight Frank and part of one of the firm’s top-ranked teams nationally. He has completed more than $500 million in real estate transactions over his career to date. Hsu is a member of NAIOP Southern Nevada and serves on its Government Affairs Committee.

— Heroy joins CBRE as an associate. Building on his background with the Investment Services Group/Fritz Investment Team at Sun Commercial Real Estate, Heroy will focus on deal support, digital marketing, opportunity generation and data analysis for the team. Prior to his career in brokerage, Heroy gained insight into the real estate process by owning and operating a national retail chain franchise.

• Colliers International | Las Vegas welcomed Jennifer Mount, CPM, as the firm’s newest property manager. Mount will be responsible for more than 500,000 square feet of commercial real estate consisting of retail, light industrial and office.

Mount has several years of experience in property management where she developed an elevated skill set in establishing and maintaining lasting client relationships to ensure tenant retention and satisfaction.

Throughout her career, Mount has serviced a wide variety of ownership structures ranging from institutional clients such as LNR Partners and Zurich to small business owners who relied on Mount’s expertise in managing their assets.

Mount began her career at Walker Asset Management Realty in 2013 and later accepted a position with Property Management by Newmark Knight Frank where she became assistant property manager.
