Kristin M. Tyler

▶ Company: Gordon Silver

▶ What do you REALLY do? I help people create estate plans to protect their families in the event of death or incapacity. I also handle a number of litigated guardianship, probate, trust and estate matters. The litigated matters help me see how things can go wrong with poor planning so that I can help avoid problems for my clients who choose to plan ahead.

▶ What’s the best part of your job: Getting to know my clients, their families, and the things that matter most to them is the absolute best part of my job.

▶ What accomplishment in the past year are you most proud of: Professionally, making partner. Personally, the birth of my beautiful baby girl.

▶ Where’s the best place to network: Charity events.

▶ Facebook or LinkedIn: I should say LinkedIn, but I’m a Facebook fan. It helps me stay in touch with friends and family all over the world.

▶ Favorite off-work activity: Enjoying our city’s world-class restaurants with my hubby.

▶ What’s your favorite professional association, community or charitable involvement: I’m a proud member of the Junior League of Las Vegas — a group of amazing women working to strengthen our community.

▶ What do you drive: Mercedes.

▶ Beer or wine: Wine.

▶ What do you want to be doing in 2025: Hopefully pretty much the same thing — juggling the demands of my career with plenty of time for family, friends, good food, volunteering, travel and having fun along the way.

▶ What’s the best advice you’ve received: My parents taught me to work hard, try my best, and always do the right thing even when no one is watching.

▶ How do you define success: Being able to strike a balance between family, career and all the other things that matter to me.
