▶ Company: American National Insurance Co.

▶ What do you REALLY do? Teach/Simplify the complicated.

▶ What’s the best part of your job: I love the family atmosphere and the people I with work with. It’s also special when a client gets a “light bulb” moment and their insurance policies become more than just a bill.

▶ What accomplishment in the past year are you most proud of: I’m most proud that I’ve continued to move forward and thrive despite personal and professional hurdles.

▶ Where’s the best place to network: Defining:Women has taught me so much about business and life. The community prides itself on being more interested in who you are rather than what you do.

▶ Facebook or LinkedIn: Facebook, although I prefer face to face.

▶ Favorite off-work activity: It’s a toss-up between hiking trails, painting, crafting and hard-core chillin’ on my couch.

▶ What’s your favorite professional association, community or charitable involvement: I’ve enjoyed Junior League of Las Vegas. It’s allowed me to meet some incredible people and has exposed me to a variety of volunteer opportunities. When it comes to charity my heart, is drawn to anything that has to do with kids or animals.

▶ What do you drive: 2015 Hyundai Sonata. Who doesn’t love a good warranty?

▶ Beer or wine: Wine sometimes; coffee always.

▶ What do you want to be doing in 2025: Doing well by doing good (shout-out to my friends at GAMA).

▶ What’s the best advice you’ve received: “Sometimes you have to stop worrying and doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but just how it’s meant to be.”

▶ How do you define success: When you are in line with your values and living your soul’s purpose.
