Scott Commings

▶ Company: Caesars Palace

▶ What do you REALLY do? Create great food and manage an incredible staff of talented culinarians

▶ What’s the best part of your job: I am able to be creative and give people experiences through food.

▶ What accomplishment in the past year are you most proud of: 1) Taking the leap to move my family to the Las Vegas area and begin work with Caesars Palace. 2) Meeting and creating great contacts with so many incredible people, business owners, community members and culinarians. 3) Working with the Boys &Girls Club.

▶ Where’s the best place to network: I have been fortunate to have been “kick-started” into the Vegas Scene with Gordon Ramsay and Hell’s Kitchen. There are so many great networking opportunities throughout Las Vegas and Communities. Social Media helps to stay up to date. A big thanks to Tyra Bell-Holland, Ava Rose Agency. I could not have a better PR liaison to the Las Vegas professional community

▶ Facebook or LinkedIn: Both.

▶ Favorite off-work activity: This is my first time in the Southwest. I am really enamored by the scenery and hiking has been a new undertaking.

▶ What’s your favorite professional association, community or charitable involvement: Boys &Girls Club of Las Vegas, Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation

▶ Beer or wine: Both

▶ What do you want to be doing in 2025: Managing my several multiconcept food establishments

▶ What’s the best advice you’ve received: Be Humble. There is something to learn at every turn of your life. No matter what you are doing, always keep your head up and take it in. Take the time to listen, and keep moving forward and gaining knowledge.

▶ How do you define success: Success is being happy and creating an environment that people want to be part of; not just on a patron level, but most importantly with those you count on every day.
