June 14, marked the grand opening of a 55,000-square-foot flagship OptumCare Cancer Center at 2300 W. Charleston Blvd. The core service and unique approach at the center is a high-touch, holistic and “all-under-one-roof” care model for cancer patients and their families. The grand opening was attended by community leaders, along with federal, state and local elected officials, and included remarks from Nevada Secretary of State and four-year cancer survivor, Barbara Cegavske.
