The PENTA Building Group successfully wrapped its 19th annual Safety Kick-Off, a multi-city initiative dedicated to industry excellence. The tour engaged thousands of construction experts and hosted a wide array of safety vendors. By leading targeted presentations on-site-wide awareness, PENTA continues to drive the conversation on safety standards across the Southwest and Western region of the U.S.
PENTA made stops at venues in Scottsdale, Arizona; Anaheim, California; Rohnert Park, California; and Henderson, delivering a key message of prioritizing job-site safety in the markets where they operate. Each event was filled with activities, including an expo showcasing the latest safety equipment and tech, an award ceremony honoring safety excellence and presentations from industry experts.
“At PENTA, safety is the most important thing we focus on, and our 19th annual event sets the tone for everything we want to accomplish in 2026,” said PENTA President and CEO John Cannito. “With so many professionals in the field, we believe there is no competition when it comes to safety and we’re proud to welcome everyone in the construction industry. We are dedicated to sharing our knowledge with trade partners, clients and other contractors to ensure everyone goes home in the same condition they arrived. This gathering isn’t just an event. It’s a collective effort to drive the safety culture of our industry forward and protect what matters most: our people.”
In addition to the Safety Kick-Off events, PENTA’s commitment to safety is channeled through a comprehensive company-wide approach, encompassing quarterly safety stand-down events, continuous safety monitoring on job-sites, as well as a strong emphasis on recording, and analyzing and sharing data in order to improve safety protocols internally and externally with leading industry organizations.
