Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, Neb.-based employee engagement survey company, has recognized Desert Radiologists with a 2015 Employee Voice Award. Desert Radiologists, one of the nation’s largest private radiology practices, has served Southern Nevada since 1966. The award recognizes Raising Engagement in the small- to medium-sized business category. Quantum Workplace honors 10 organizations each year for excellence in employee engagement. Desert Radiologists is this year’s only Nevada recipient for the national accolade. The practice operates six outpatient locations throughout Las Vegas and Henderson and provides radiology for 11 Nevada hospitals.

Jack Easdale, vice president of yield management at The Venetian and Palazzo, has won the mentor of the year award from University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Hospitality School. Easdale received the award March 24 at a ceremony at the Las Vegas Country Club. Easdale lent his time and expertise to mentor student Kaiyang Wu.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has been recognized as one of Achievers’ 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in North America. This annual award acknowledges the 50 top employers in the United States and Canada that display leadership and innovation in engaging their workplaces. MGM Resorts International was also recognized with this award.
