Q: What are you reading?
A: I am currently reading “Non Obvious Mega Trends” by Rohit Barghava. This Wall Street Journal Bestseller offers insight into business and cultural trends that matter, and explores why they matter and what actions they might inspire. This book is excellent for developing short- and long-term strategic business strategies, which I find to be very useful.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant or place to take clients?
A: Panevino Italian Grille fits that bill. It is close to our office and always offers the best in service, menu choices and food quality.
Q: How do you decompress after a long week?
A: To decompress, I love to spend time walking and/or hiking with my wife and our dog, Bella. If time permits we love to take short weekend trips to nearby points of interest.
Q: What do you do to work out?
A: Triathlons.Growing up, I was a competitive swimmer and so when I learned about triathlons and swimming being the first leg of the race I thought it was an excellent way to keep and stay in shape. I have qualified for the Nationals twice in the last several years so the sport keeps me motivated.
Q: What is the biggest challenge facing Southern Nevada?
A: The adverse economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic without a doubt. Southern Nevada and Las Vegas are especially dependent on a thriving economy surrounding us. That said, I believe we are an extremely resilient area that has had to overcome both economic and personal tragedies in the past, and I remain optimistic that we will overcome our current situation at hand.
