C-SUITE: Meet Adam Gregory, president of Southern Nevada CCIM

Adam Gregory, CCIM, is the president of Southern Nevada CCIM and senior vice president for COMCAP Advisors.

Q: What are you reading?

A: Currently reading “The Last Lion: Winston Churchill and The Second World Wars” by victor Davis Hanson. I am a student of World War II and how that war shaped the world we live in today. I had a grandmother survive the holocaust and her story has always resonated with me.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant or place to take clients?

A: It has been so long since I have been able to go out with a client I’m not sure anymore. Pre-COVID I would say T-Bones or Vintner Grill. My favorite spot on the Strip would probably be Carbone.

Q: How do you decompress after a long week?

A: I have three young kids so I feel like this is a trick question. There is no decompressing over the weekend. I always appreciate the opportunity to get away with my wife for a date night.

Q: What do you do to workout?

A: The gym is truly the place I get to decompress (just at 5 a.m. in the morning). I work out at Game Changer Sports Monday thru Friday. As most parents know in today’s world there are few opportunities outside of work that you can truly call your own — this is mine.

Q: What is the biggest challenge facing Southern Nevada?

A: Las Vegas needs convention business to return if we are going to ever fully recover from this pandemic. While our market continues to grow and diversify we will always be heavily reliant on the hospitality industry. Conventions are a vital component to our markets business model.
