The Las Vegas Philharmonic will host its annual fundraising gala with the theme “Singing In The Rain,” featuring Patricia Ward Kelly (wife of the late Gene Kelly) at 6:30 p.m. at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Reynolds Hall, 361 Symphony Park Ave. Led by music director, Donato Cabrera, the Las Vegas Philharmonic provides more than 16,000 children each year with access to a music education program while showcasing local talents alongside nationally and internationally-known guest artists on the Reynolds Hall stage. The heart of the orchestra is represented by 76 contracted professional musicians, many of whom are educators who also perform in other professional productions in Las Vegas, bringing depth and variety to the organization.
