C-SUITE SPOTLIGHT: Meet Champions for CASA President Jenifer Page

When Jenifer Page first became a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), she didn’t know how deeply it would change her life. She quickly discovered both the power and the heartbreak of the foster care system.

“I saw firsthand the incredible difference one volunteer can make in a child’s life,” she recalls. “But I also saw how many children were waiting without an advocate. That realization changed everything for me.”

For Jenifer, that moment of truth sparked a lifelong mission. She could not stand by knowing that over three thousand children in Clark County were still waiting for someone to stand up for them. Out of that determination, Champions for CASA was born.

What began as a desire to recruit, retain, and recognize CASA volunteers grew into something much larger. It became a movement to strengthen every connection between advocates and the children they serve.

Jenifer was not content to simply form an organization. She wanted to build something lasting, something that would give both volunteers and foster youth a sense of belonging. That vision became the Champions for CASA Connections Center, a first-of-its-kind space in Southern Nevada.

“CASA volunteers often had no consistent place to meet with the children they advocate for,” Jenifer explains. “Visits took place in fast-food restaurants, court hallways, or parking lots. Those settings aren’t private, safe, or conducive to building trust. We wanted to change that.”

The Champions for CASA Connections Center was created to do exactly that. Designed to be warm, welcoming, and full of hope, it gives volunteers and children a place to connect, create, and heal. Each room was designed with intention: a Teen Tech Room powered by COX Charities where youth can talk openly, a Music Studio where they can record and find their voice, an Arts &Crafts Center and Toddler Space to create moments of joy, and a Full Kitchen powered by Home Depot where volunteers and youth can cook and celebrate milestones together. Every space says to each child who walks through our doors: You belong here.

“It’s transformational,” Jenifer says. “The Champions for CASA Connections Center provides the stability and consistency that children in foster care so often lack. A safe, healing environment allows trust to flourish and makes time with their volunteer more meaningful. For volunteers, it’s a resource and a reminder that their work matters deeply.”

Champions for CASA is the only nonprofit in Nevada formally aligned with the Clark County Court through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Its mission is to strengthen the CASA program by recruiting, retaining, and recognizing volunteers who serve as vital voices for foster youth. Every program is designed to protect children’s dignity and ensure they have the consistent, trusted advocate they deserve.

“Every corner of the Connections Center tells a story of hope, resilience, and connection,” Jenifer shares. “I dream that people walk in and feel inspired to get involved, whether by volunteering, donating, or advocating. Because together, we can change the trajectory of a child’s life.”

There are many ways to make a difference. Becoming a CASA volunteer means standing up for a child in foster care. Supporting the Champions for CASA Connections Center helps sustain its programs and expand its impact. Even sharing its mission can help inspire others to act. When it says Champions for CASA, your support helps foster kids and the advocates who care for them find connection, stability, and hope.
