Q: What are you reading?
A: I’m currently listening to an interesting book called “Perversion ofJustice: The Jeffrey Epstein Story.” It’s by Julie K. Brown, and she is the reporter from the Miami Herald who helped bring him to justice. While commuting around town, I listen to “Pass Your Private Checkride” because I am a private pilot.Just before bed, I am reading “Klara and the Sun,” an excellent sci-fi novel about synthetic humans and artificial intelligence.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant or place to take clients?
A: These days it’s Flower Child! It has a nice atmosphere and is healthy. Plus, it is quick and easy.
Q: How do you decompress after a long week?
A: I fly airplanes, sail, play chess and hang out with my family.
Q: What do you do to workout?
A: I work out everyday and focus on strength training, swimming and biking. I need movement or I die!
Q: What is the biggest challenge facing Southern Nevada?
A: Going green is the biggest challenge we face. We have an enormous amount of energy shining down on us nearly 365 days a year, and it’s largely untapped. We need to do a better job of harnessing it for both residential and commercial applications. What a terrific opportunity for us to lead the nation and the world in sustainable practices.
