Boulder City Power Plant receives safety recognition
The Sempra U.S. Gas &Power’s Copper Mountain Solar 1 facility in Boulder City is the first solar power plant in the United States to receive the “Voluntary Protection Programs Star” designation from the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The award is the organization’s highest recognition for exemplary safety performance.
