Three Square Food Bank is expanding its relationship with local nonprofit Create A Change Now to bring fresh produce to local children struggling with nutritional options.
Since joining forces in 2015, the pair has provided more than 1,000 students a 5-pound bag of fresh produce to take home. Create A Change Now and Three Square are continuing to expand the collaboration by adding one school each month throughout the year.
More than 126,000 Southern Nevada children live struggle with hunger. This partnership allows both organizations fulfill their mission of education, making healthy choices and feeding each child with wholesome foods that will help them develop and thrive.

HopeLink Partnership delivers produce
HopeLink of Southern Nevada has partnered with Three Square Food Bank in a monthly effort to deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to hungry low-income senior citizens, many of whom receive $16 or less in food stamps monthly and lack transportation.
Approximately 2,000 pounds of fresh produce was bagged and delivered recently to each of three Henderson communities whose residents are predominantly low-income seniors. Nearly 400 senior households received the goods, which are seldom provided at area food banks because they are perishable.
