The Small Business Administration is presenting a workshop exploring what the Affordable Care Act means for small business. Although the Affordable Care Act mandates the responsibility and cost of insuring full-time employees to businesses with 50 or more full-time employees, it includes provisions that apply to small businesses with fewer than 50 employees. This workshop covers the basics of the Affordable Care Act law as it applies to small business. Topics are essential health benefits, extension of coverage to adult children, notice requirements, general administration and appeals. Experienced regulators will answer questions. Henderson Chamber of Commerce is hosting its monthly breakfast from 7-9 a.m. at Fiesta Henderson, Cancun Room, 777 W. Lake Mead Parkway, featuring a program on “St. Rose de Lima Advancements in Neurological Rehabilitation” presented by Dr. Tony Chin. Chin has been in Southern Nevada since 1994, and in 2013 was named chief medical officer of the Dignity Health — St. Rose Dominican, Rose de Lima Campus’ Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility.

The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce stages its Business Expo, the group’s signature annual trade show and networking event. With an expected 150 exhibit booths, Business Expo has become a must for discovering new products, services, technologies and offerings; meeting service providers from both new and established companies of all sizes; sampling food from some of Las Vegas’ most popular eateries; and giving Metro Chamber members brand visibility to the Las Vegas business community.
