Banking

Gov. Brian Sandoval appointed Brianna McCullough, senior vice president/marketing communications and product campaign manager for Nevada State Bank, to a three-year term on the Nevada Volunteers’ board of commissioners. McCullough has been with Nevada State Bank for four years. She manages a multimillion-dollar budget covering all aspects of brand, media and advertising for the bank and develops plans that leverage media to increase the bank’s bottom line. McCullough also has volunteered for Three Square and Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.

Clark County Credit Union hired Debbie Weeks and Lori Nomura as a new loan operations representatives. They will manage deeds, titles and contracts for members.

Convention Services

Xpert Exposition Services named four people to new positions. Scott Nobles joins as logistics director. Sarah Fisher joins as a production analyst and will help with financial and strategic company initiatives and the company’s e-commerce platform. Joanne Derchi and Shannon Henley joined as exhibit service representatives.

Finance

Josh Brummett was named marketing consultant for Wells Fargo Bank in Southern Nevada. Brummett brings more than 16 years of experience in financial services, including 12 years at Wells Fargo. He has served as a personal banker, store manager, market growth and development consultant and membership banking regional program manager at Wells Fargo.

Health Care

Joseph Hickey, APRN, has joined Southwest Medical’s Lifestyle Center where he specializes in adult medicine. Dr. Michael Petruso and Jennifer Soderberg, PA-C, join Southwest Medical’s Tenaya Health Care Center where they will specialize in adult medicine. Dr. Kimberly Farmer also joined the Tenaya office where she will specialize in obstetrics/gynecology.

Aliante Integrated Physical Medicine hired Desiree Caputo as its billing and front-office manager. Caputo has worked in health care for more than 18 years in several specialties. Besides being responsible for all of the billing, accounts receivable, financial plans and authorizations. She also manages the front desk and helps the doctors.

Law

Howard &Howard Attorneys has added seven to its Las Vegas office. Brandon J. Wilson and Jacob P. Woolbright become shareholders in the firm. Wilson focuses his practice in commercial litigation including trade secret misappropriation, noncompetition covenants, shareholder disputes, real estate, construction and general contract matters. Woolbright focuses his practice on intellectual property law including intellectual property procurement, technology-related transactions, and opinion preparation, with an emphasis on patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law. Joseph W. Barber focuses his practice in intellectual property matters and complex commercial litigation. Seaton J. Curran focuses his practice on intellectual property. He has experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications with a focus on mechanical, electrical and computer technologies. Steven W. Hays focuses his practice on patent and trademark law including preparation, prosecution and litigation. Jane S. Hahn focuses her practice on business and corporate law. She represents lenders in secured and unsecured financings including loan workouts and restructurings, term and revolving loans, working capital and letter-of-credit facilities. Michael J. Minna focuses his practice on intellectual property law with an emphasis on preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, primarily in the mechanical arts.

Ogletree Deakins added three attorneys to its Las Vegas office. Berna Rhodes-Ford is of counsel and has nearly 20 years of legal experience in employment law practice. She also advises clients on employment agreements, employee manuals, compliance programs, and litigation avoidance. Kathryn Branson represents employers in federal and state court actions involving claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, violations of wage and hour laws, breach of contract and restrictive covenant agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets. Dana Krulewitz focuses her practice on counseling and litigation of employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

Thorndal Armstrong Delk Balkenbush &Eisinger hired lawyers Michael P. Lowry and Kenneth R. Lund to join the firm as shareholders.

Fisher &Phillips hired Annemarie Gourley as assistant to the managing partner, Mark Ricciardi, along with of counsel, David Dornak. Gourley has worked in the legal industry for more than 25 years. Her responsibilities include managing the managing partner’s day-to-day activities and helping with filing of legal documents.

Real Estate

Forest City Enterprises named Sherri Lewis specialty leasing manager for Town Square Las Vegas. Lewis will identify and cultivate prospective temporary retail tenants, supervise their daily operation and coordinate visual merchandising for the specialty leasing program. Before joining Forest City, Lewis was a property manager for the Las Vegas branch of Port Street Realty Corp., where she was the broker of record for a 400-home portfolio. She has almost 20 years of experience in real estate, including positions as a community manager and leasing trainer for Prime Group Residential and Fore Property Co. She also spent 12 years with General Realty Group, where she specialized in residential home sales.
