• The Ferraro Group, an award-winning public relations and public affairs firm with offices in Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, Phoenix and Washington, D.C., announced that Megan Wood has joined the firm as an assistant account executive in its Las Vegas office.
In her new role, Wood will support the development and execution of strategic public relations plans, event coordination, media relations and the creation of dynamic public relations campaigns for the firm’s diverse client base. With experience spanning industries, such as aviation, health care, sports and education, she brings a well-rounded perspective and strong industry knowledge to the agency. A Las Vegas native, Wood earned her Bachelor of Science in strategic communication with minors in general business and psychology from Texas Christian University. She is also pursuing a Master of Science in public relations innovation, strategy and management through an online program at the University of Southern California while advancing her career at The Ferraro Group.
Wood first interned with The Ferraro Group in 2022 and most recently worked part time with the firm before being offered a full-time position.

• Founded in 2008, Ferrari Reeder Public Affairs announced Jimmy Lau as partner, along with the firm’s new name — Ferrari Reeder Lau Public Affairs. The Nevada-based firm is focused on results-driven government and public affairs solutions to publicly traded companies, large trade associations and others seeking to advance issues statewide and beyond. In his new role as partner, Lau will work alongside the firm’s senior partner, Brian Reeder, in overseeing and managing all aspects of company operations, with the continued strategic expertise and guidance of the firm’s founder, Chris Ferrari, who will remain CEO.

In addition to the elevation of Lau, and the firm’s new name, Ferrari Reeder Lau Public Affairs, the firm is also announcing the promotion of Donna Laffey to vice president, and the recent hire of Cade Grogan as an associate.
— Since re-joining the firm in 2022, Laffey’s talent and expertise has led clients to success in both legislative and regulatory matters, and her promotion to vice president is reflective of her advancement in both client services and firm management.
Grogan served as an intern for the firm during the 2025 session, and after showing a strong command of the work and clientele, he was hired full time as an associate.

• CleanSpark, a publicly traded Bitcoin mining company headquartered in Henderson, announced a strategic realignment of its leadership team, with several key internal appointments and transitions to accelerate innovation, drive diversified growth and strengthen the company’s long-term strategic trajectory.
— Matt Schultz, the co-founder, executive chairman and former chief executive officer of CleanSpark has been named chief executive officer. He originally led the company’s growth in the energy sector and was instrumental in raising billions in capital to fuel the growth of the company’s Bitcoin mining business. His leadership has been critical in making CleanSpark one of the largest and most recognizable Bitcoin mining companies in North America.
— Gary A. Vecchiarelli has been named president, while continuing to serve as chief financial officer. In this expanded leadership role, he will support the CEO by overseeing financial strategy, treasury operations, capital markets activities and legal and compliance, while also driving organizational execution, operational excellence and cross-functional alignment as president.
— Scott Garrison will now serve as chief development officer and executive vice president, and oversee infrastructure expansion, corporate development, business operations and government affairs. He previously served as chief operating officer and this transition reflects an expanded focus on growth of power infrastructure, as well as strategic data center development.
— Taylor Monnig has been named chief operating officer, in addition to his existing chief technology officer role. This dual role will focus on operational excellence in Bitcoin mining, energy optimization and corporate functions, while driving innovation in software, hardware and digital asset technology. Prior to CleanSpark, Taylor was issued a number of data center patents and won an Intel innovation award as part of the OTTO HPC platform.
— Harry Sudock, formerly senior vice president, was appointed chief business officer and will oversee investor relations and strategic communications, provide sector leadership, and play a key role in the development and implementation of the broader corporate strategy.
