The Las Vegas Metro Chamber will honor local businesses that demonstrate diversity, creativity and innovation at the Business Excellence Awards luncheon Oct. 8.
The Business Excellence Awards honor the businesses that continue to grow and strive in the ever-changing marketplace and have demonstrated their commitment to customers, community and employees.
Nevada State Bank is the exclusive sponsor of the program.
Trailblazers recipients include CenturyLink, Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, MGM Resorts International and Welcome Home Troops.
Innovators consist of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Helix Electric of Nevada, Opportunity Village, Rimini Street and William Hill US.
Pacesetters are Americana Safety, Applied Analysis, Café Rio Mexican Grill, Skyworks Aerial Systems and Workforce Connections.
Groundbreakers include Blue Heron, Clean Energy Project, Crazy Pita Restaurant Group, Las Vegas Convention Center SpringHill Suites Marriott and Outside Las Vegas Foundation.
Cultivators recipients are Aliante Casino & Hotel & Spa, Barclaycard US, Cox Communications — Las Vegas, Dr. Rex Liu — Family & Cosmetic Dentistry and Fair, Anderson & Langerman.
The luncheon is at Aria Resort & Casino, 3730 Las Vegas Blvd South. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program is from noon-1 p.m. The luncheon is $55 for members and $70 for non-members and walk-ins. A table of 10 can be purchased for $550.
