The run up of sales at Southern Nevada car dealers since the recession has plateaued and in some cases are on the downswing. Dealerships, however, aren’t fretting the changes in the car and truck market, and no one has cancelled plans to spend tens of millions of dollars to expand their operations and relocate to better sites with bigger showrooms.
Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval recently signed into law Senate Bill 145 during the 2017 legislative session. The act created an Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Demonstration Program with objectives to enable policies that expand the use of electric vehicles and support the growth of EV infrastructure throughout the state.
