Las Vegas-based Houston Contracting Corp. has been acquired by Response Team 1, a national property restoration, disaster loss recovery, and multifamily renovation company.
Houston Contracting Corp. has been providing multifamily renovation and light commercial service in Nevada, California, Arizona, Utah and Washington.
Going forward, Houston Contracting Corp. will do business as RT1 Renovation Services.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Response Team 1 provides residential and commercial property restoration and renovation services in 34 states from 25 locations.
“Response Team 1 offers us additional resources and expanded capabilities to better serve our customers, who include multifamily property owners and managers and their clients,” Houston Contracting Corp. President David Houston said. “Our new partnership and identity as a Response Team 1 company offer an ideal strategic fit for Houston and provide us many opportunities to grow together.”
Response Team 1 Chairman John Goense said, “This collaborative relationship will enhance (Houston’s) ability to deliver high-quality services to customers.”
Response Team 1 was recently named to the Inc. Magazine 500 list as one of the fastest-growing companies in America in 2014.
