REAL ESTATE

• Complete Association Management Company LLC (CAMCO) has named Alyssa Waters the regional director for the homeowner association management company’s portfolio division.

As the regional director, she supervises CAMCO’s team of portfolio managers and administrative support. She will foster relationships with board members and others involved with the homeowner associations the company manages to assess her staff’s performance and ensure customer satisfaction as well as monitor the employees’ compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.

Waters was drawn to CAMCO in April 2019 because of the company’s reputation. She majored in sociology, with a minor in psychology, at the University of Nevada, Reno, and had a background in the service industry. But in 2011, a friend offered her the chance to work in HOA management, and Waters felt the opportunity to face new challenges daily, work with diverse individuals, multitask and constantly problem solve was an ideal work environment for her overactive mind. She started as a receptionist and administrative assistant and worked her way up the ladder.

She obtained her Community Management License with the Nevada Real Estate Division (now transferred into a Supervising Community Management License) and designations of Dedicated Community Association Leader (DCAL), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and the top industry designation of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). She is also a notary public.

She is actively involved in the Community Association Institute, Community Association Managers International Certification Board and Nevada Association of Community Managers. She hopes to become more involved in the local chapter of the CAI through committees that will allow her to ensure the perspectives of homeowners, board of directors and community managers are heard “in hopes of a bright future for the industry as a whole.”
