Morgan Stanley has secured office space

UnCommons, a $400 million, 40-acre mixed-use community in southwest Las Vegas, has announced that Morgan Stanley, a multinational investment bank and financial service company, has secured office space at the development when it opens in early 2022.

After more than two decades at the “HC,” formerly Howard Hughes Center, the global financial leader will occupy a 22,000-square-foot office space at UnCommons. Designed by architecture firm, Gensler, UnCommons is in the southwest Las Vegas market.

“Having a global leader like Morgan Stanley choose UnCommons as their new home speaks volumes about the experience we are pursuing with our community,” said Matter Real Estate Group Partner Jim Stuart. “UnCommons is being created to deliver on the demands and expectations of the modern workforce. We look forward to providing the Morgan Stanley team a workplace experience that supports their vision of the future.”

Opening next year, UnCommons will reimagine the workplace experience with market-leading design and technology, floor-to-ceiling windows that welcome daylight and views of the natural Las Vegas surroundings, breakout spaces for individual work or small group collaboration, a conference center that can be used to host small meetings and workshops and more. Bringing together multiple fitness studios, open-air common areas, contemporary residential units and a mélange of food and beverage options, the campus will set the foundation for a thriving, inspiring workplace. Future phases will bring UnCommons to more than 500,000 square feet of modern office space, all built with distinctive architectural features and the latest in safety innovations.

COMPLETED SALES TRANSACTIONS

• Colliers Las Vegas’ Doherty Industrial Group has announced it completed the $40.5 million sale of a 331,471-square-foot industrial property at 7900 W. Sunset Road. Doherty Industrial Group’s Dan Doherty, SIOR; Paul Sweetland, SIOR; Chris Lane, SIOR; and Jerry Doty, SIOR; and Colliers’ Capital Markets specialists Michael Kendall and Gian Bruno represented the seller, Panattoni Development, an industrial real estate developer.

Southwest Corporate Campus in southwest Las Vegas totals 331,471 square feet and was 100 percent leased at the time of the sale. Built in 2007, the property sits on approximately 17.82 acres with an additional 4.85 acres of developable land. A joint venture between the Brookhollow Group and PCCP purchased the property for $40,500,000.

Garrett Toft, SIOR, and Jake Higgins of CBRE Inc. represented the seller in the sale of a 52,488-square-foot industrial building at 1110 Mary Crest Road to Kennedy-Wilson International for $8,922,960.

A sale to Victor Balian. The 26,480-square-foot retail property is at 6620-6680 W. Flamingo Road. The transaction amount was $6,900,000. Al Twainy, CCIM, and Jennifer Lehr, CCIM, of Colliers International represented the seller, Flamingo Plaza LLC.
