HopeLink receives award at annual business gala
From a field of 74 registered charities and three final nominees, HopeLink of Southern Nevada received the Outstanding Nonprofit Organization award at the 16th annual Economic Development and Small Business Gala on Nov. 19. The 24-year old family resource center was one of three nominees, along with Habitat for Humanity and Spread the Word Nevada. With a staff of 12, HopeLink’s effective assistance programs have become models for Clark County’s homeless supportive and emergency housing programs and low-income senior citizen outreach services.
