PENTA Building Group raised $120,000 for three Southern Nevada nonprofit organizations during its recent 12th annual Charity Golf Classic at Revere Golf Club.
The event generated widespread community support and welcomed 312 golfers, more than 80 volunteers and sponsorship and support from more than 100 companies.
As a result of the event, PENTA donated $40,000 to Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Women’s Development Center and Nevada Military Support Alliance.
NCCF will apply the funds toward its largest adolescent program, Project Aids and Resources for Kids, which provides support for more than 800 local families with children who have cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. WDC will use the funds to provide housing for community members in need.
NMSA works to organize and promote the recognition, support and appreciation of Nevada’s men and women in the armed forces, veterans and their families.
Supporting local nonprofits remains a top priority for PENTA. In four years, the contractor has raised approximately half a million dollars for Las Vegas nonprofits through its annual golf classic.
In addition, PENTA has donated more than $300,000 to approximately 40 nonprofits across the Las Vegas Valley since October 2014.
