Apartment complex sells for $17.75M

MOUNTAIN VISTA APARTMENT COMPLEX SELLS FOR $17.75M

On behalf of Haven Realty Capital, Cushman & Wakefield completed the sale of Mountain Vista to an undisclosed buyer for $17.75 million.

Taylor and Carl Sims of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller. This marks the team’s third time selling the asset.

“This was a great value-add acquisition for the buyer, as 50 percent of the units had been renovated by previous ownership, proving their rent thesis,” Taylor Sims said.

Mountain Vista, a 178-unit apartment complex at 3950 S. Mountain Vista St. is near major commuter freeways, local shopping center, dining venues and minutes from the Las Vegas strip.

Built in 1979, the two-story property features a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Unit interiors offer walk-in closets, balconies, storage space, and high-speed internet access. The community features a business center, breakfast/coffee concierge, grills, fitness center, laundry facilities, pool and a picnic area.

SILVER CITY PLAZA ON THE STRIP UP FOR SALE

Newmark Knight Frank is bringing Silver City Plaza to market for sale. Expected to garner interest in excess of $60 million, Silver City Plaza is a 100 percent leased retail center on the Las Vegas Strip.

Silver City Plaza is a 41,583-square-foot retail center that features five tenants including: Ross Dress for Less, 7-Eleven, Las Vegas Tickets and Tours and Crazy Ely. Built in 2004, the center features a 40-foot neon monument sign with nearly 250 feet of frontage at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Convention Center Drive.

• A sale to MCA Equus II LLC. The 357,608-square-foot industrial property is in Equus Business Park at 3400 W.
