▶ Company: Galleria at Sunset (owned and managed by Forest City Enterprises)
▶ What do you REALLY do? Simply said, my job is to drive traffic and sales. Accomplishing those two things requires me to dabble in many areas of marketing, advertising, PR, sales, event development, community relations and a whole lot of creativity!
▶ What’s the best part of your job? Shopping, of course! Seriously, the best part is that I not only have the ability, but a responsibility, to weave the shopping center through the fabric of our shoppers’ lives and community as a whole. The shopping center of 20-plus years ago is not what it is today. Now the center goes above and beyond the traditional shopping experience and is a hub for cultural events, nonprofit fundraisers and entertainment.
▶ What accomplishment in the past year are you most proud of? Being an integral part of the center’s renovation and expansion process. From the new logo to paint color, the company valued the management team’s input on what the center should evolve into.
▶ Where’s the best place to network? Henderson Chamber of Commerce events.
▶ Facebook or LinkedIn: LinkedIn
▶ Favorite off-work activity: Hot Pilates and boot camp; I’m addicted.
▶ What’s your favorite professional association, community or charitable involvement? I’ve been serving on the board of directors for the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for two years. The museum is an absolute gem.
▶ What do you drive? A very inconspicuous vehicle – I like to fly under the radar.
▶ Beer or wine? Wine
▶ What do you want to be doing in 2025? Whatever I will be doing, it will be done with purpose, joy and the desire to make a positive impact that will leave a lasting impression.
▶ What’s the best advice you’ve received? Live in a state of gratitude, always.
▶ How do you define success? Those moments when you’re not thinking about what else you could have and realize what you DO HAVE.
