One hundred Clark County School District educators were selected to receive a grant to upgrade their technology as they teach students from home, thanks to a partnership between Cox and the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
Building on decades of successful research to develop exploration tools for the geothermal industry, the Great Basin Center for Geothermal Energy at the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology is leading a Department of Energy project that aims to accelerate discoveries of new, commercially viable hidden geothermal systems in the Great Basin region of the Western United States.

Wednesday’s town hall will focus on resources available to help small businesses get started and survive, including the Small Business Stabilization Forgivable Loan Program, loan applications and approval. Friday’s webinar will focus on how live streaming videos can help market a business, and the dos and don’ts of creating them. Both the town hall and the webinar are free, and there will be English-language and Spanish-language sessions.

Americana Holdings is one of the first major real estate firms to offer group health insurance, which is available to all of its 3,500 Realtors.
Subaru of America Inc. (SOA) and Findlay’s Subaru of Las Vegas presented a check for $24,697 to Discovery Children’s Museum and $31,802 to Red Rock Search Rescue. Discovery Children’s Museum and Red Rock Search Rescue were local beneficiaries in the 2019 Subaru Share the Love Event.
