This award recognizes businesses that work closely with SCATS to increase employer and employee knowledge of the value of safety in the workplace. The Safe Partner Award is an elite program and is only awarded to four businesses per year out of the 50,000 employers in the state of Nevada.

GRADD works with Nevada businesses and the aviation industry to promote training, greater understanding and ongoing education for pilots of unmanned aerial vehicles, partnerships with the Federal Aviation Administration and businesses utilizing professional services from this industry.
In 2016, the county issued 81,325 marriage licenses resulting in 79,037 marriages filed. February is traditionally a weak month for weddings in Clark County. Last year the county issued 6,651 licenses for the month — more than 1,000 less than October, which saw the most weddings.

The Promenade at Juhl opened in November.
