Rosendin, the electrical contracting industry’s largest employee-owned firm, has announced it has promoted Tedd Lee to vice president of field operations at its Las Vegas regional office. Rosendin is a $2 billion company with a regional office in Las Vegas recognized for its work at Molycorp, McCarran International Airport Terminal 3 and CityCenter.

UNLV has announced Dr. Marc J. Kahn as the new dean of the School of Medicine. He is a senior associate dean at Tulane University School of Medicine and was selected following a national search for the position. He takes his post at UNLV on April 1.

City National Bank has hired Isabel Alvarado as vice president and branch manager of the bank’s Green Valley banking office at 8475 S. Eastern Avenue and the corner of Wigwam Parkway. Alvarado replaces Scott Sellers , who was promoted to Nevada’s field sales manager.

Nevada Humanities has announced the newest members to its board of trustees. Nevada Humanities is governed by a volunteer board made up of leaders in the humanities and nonprofit entities from around the state. Every year, Nevada Humanities seeks nominations for new members to serve three-year terms.
GCW Inc. has announced Allen Pavelka as senior vice president. He joined GCW in November 2019 and brings 35 years of engineering experience to the firm, which includes service in private firms and public agencies. Pavelka is responsible for overseeing business development, as well as assisting with managing projects and developing and streamlining processes within the company.
